Sunday Morning & Night & MW - That's What They Did In the Bible!

Thank you for the response that we have received to this message. The purpose of this message was to help our church family with the change in our circumstances over the last three years in particular. Between the distance of half our church family and work schedules, our MW service has been almost non-existent at times for months. For our church to have a Sunday night service would mean that half of our church would either spend four hours driving each Lord's day or spend all day at the church house. As a pastor who has always believed in the traditional service times, I have been forced to relook at this matter biblically. Our people listen on SA when they aren't able to make the drive to church, so it isn't that they are avoiding the preaching of God's Word. My reason for mentioning the history about this matter is to show that recent tradition has been the basis more than scripture in making decisions about the church schedule. My purpose for this message was not to discredit churches that are able to continue meeting three times each week.
