Is there such a thing as 'chance' when it comes to God's providence? In this text, God answers the apostle's prayers, acts of patience, and acts of their obedience by providing a new twelfth apostle through what we might perceive as a chance act, but there's much more to God's act of provision than what we might see at first read.
