God's Quiet Work

Regrettably, way too much has been made of this "still small voice." Erroneous ideas and arbitrary practices have emerged, and with it, all kinds of haphazard theology built on and around this phrase … at the expense of the true lesson the Lord was teaching.
However, the purpose of this mountaintop object lesson with wind, fire and quake … then the gentle stillness … was to teach Elijah this truth - GOD often works in quiet ways.
