1 Thessalonians 2:7-12 - "Like A Gentle Father"

Men, we can be gentle with our families. We can patiently and joyfully share the Gospel and our lives with them. We can "be Christ to them" by modeling Him and expressing our pleasure in Him. We can, like Paul, work hard in our job and also in proclaiming the Gospel to our children with exhortation and encouragement. Why? To please God and because we have so fond an affection for them as they are very dear to us. Let your love for your families be shown by your gentleness and persistent witness to Jesus Christ!
