The Spiritual Cleansing

I. Those depending on external ceremonies do not have eternal redemption.
A. Ceremonies of the law could only bring ceremonial cleansing.
B. Sacrifices of the law could only free from temporal penalties.
II. Christ came to obtain eternal redemption for believers.
A. By His blood shed for all their transgressions.
B. That they might have spiritual cleansing.
C. That they might serve the living God with new life.
