We consider the exhortations of 1 Timothy 5:1-6 and what the life of a believer looks like in light of our original calling to be humble servants of the living God, our rebellion and rebellious hearts in Adam, the perfect submission of Christ our Head, and the way that we are freed from our sinful desires through the continued mercy and grace of God.
