Looking through the Temporal

Don't look at what you see around you as reality. The pomp and circumstance surrounding Paul before he gives his testimony must have elicited some fear in him. But Paul doesn't give in to the reality that seems to be; instead, he focuses on eternal things which are not seen. Yet these eternal things constitute reality. Everything else is fantasy.

1. Value eternal treasure; devalue temporal treasure.
2. Trouble demonstrates we live in a temporal, broken world.
3. Trouble demonstrates we live for an eternal inheritance.
4. Suffering will either be avoided or produce godly sorrow.
