The Lamb or The Beast

The Lamb or the Beast

The sermon, drawn from Revelation 12–15 and Ecclesiastes 9, presents a powerful contrast between allegiance to the beast and devotion to the Lamb, emphasizing that true victory comes not through worldly power but through the blood of Christ, the testimony of faith, and the willingness to love not one's life even unto death. It underscores that Satan, though active in deceiving the world, operates only by God's sovereign permission, and that believers are protected by Christ's sacrifice and empowered by the Holy Spirit to resist deception and live in faithful obedience. The passage highlights the eternal significance of worship—true worship being voluntary, joyful, and rooted in redemption—contrasted with the coerced, fear-driven allegiance to the Antichrist and false prophet. Ultimately, the message calls for a heart transformation through the blood of the Lamb, enabling believers to live in the world without being of it, trusting God to meet their needs even in times of trial, and proclaiming the everlasting gospel of repentance, faith, and worship in Christ alone.
