The process of our sanctification includes an awareness that we are no longer slaves of sin but have become slaves of Christ. We are bought with the blood of Christ and are no longer our own . We don't own Christ as our servant ,rather He owns us as His slave. This is a voluntary slavery in reaction to His sacrificial love for us.
