The Scripture tells us to give thanks in everything, not for everything. Not every circumstance is good. Not every moment feels good. Not every trial is pleasant. But in every circumstance, God is still good.

That's why Romans 8:28 declares:

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who
