The Door of Salvation is Closing

The sermon powerfully emphasizes the urgent necessity of immediate repentance and faith in Christ, framing salvation as a door that is gradually closing and will one day be shut forever. Drawing from the story of Noah and the flood, it illustrates how God's long-suffering and patience was ultimately exhausted by unrepentant humanity, so will the final judgment will come and it will be sudden and without warning. The parable of the ten virgins reinforces this urgency, showing that outward religious activity is not a substitute for seeking the Lord. The preacher calls listeners to recognize their spiritual condition as lost and guilty, to abandon self-reliance, and to come to Christ in humility and desperation, for only through Him is eternal rest and salvation found.
