Exposition of Romans - Part-52 (Romans 8:28-29).

This sermon/lesson was delivered at the Princess Chapel Church in Ashland, KY by Pastor Douglas Salyer, the Exposition from Romans as part of the Expository Bible Study, verse by verse through the Book of Romans. This lesson, Part-52, from Romans chapter 8.

The key text was taken from Romans 8:28-29, however it included the entire context of the complete passage of Romans 8:28-30. This sermon covers the Salvation of God's People, dealing with the doctrine eternal security, and the authority of our eternal security which is the Sovereignty of God.

The message focuses upon the two fold purpose of the doctrine of predestination. God elects and predestinates according to the counsel of His own will, to fulfill His Sovereign Divine purpose. His elect have been predestined to Holiness (the doctrine of Sanctification).

ROMANS 8:28-30

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
