True unity is not sameness. In fact unity can only really be experienced in the presence of diversity. How can we “keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” in the midst of diverse opinions and preferences? How can we distinguish between a biblical conviction and a personal preference? What can we as leaders in ministry learn from Paul and Barnabas at the beginning of their second missionary trips that will allow us to resolve conflicts while maintaining a spirit of grace.
