A Word for the Discouraged

As the rebuilding of the temple got under way the remnant realized that what they were building was not going to be as elaborate as the original one built by Solomon. Discouragement set in.
When we get discouraged we've narrowed our focus down to a moment in time and current circumstances. We take our focus off of God and who He is and of what He is going to bring out of it.
We are so used to operating in our own humanity that we've forgotten that the only hope we have is the strength of the Lord that come through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
What is our present help when discouraged? Remember what God has done. Remember who God is. Remember that God is in control. Remember that God is enough.
