Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?

The government's hand in our present quandary of what defines a family began much earlier than the recent redefinition of marriage to include same sex unions.
In the early 60's, government was already actively manipulating social reforms that would redefine laws to include the concept of no-fault divorce.
Government wrongly instituted and wrongly practiced can bring destruction to its people but God's Word has the answer for a world turned upside down by man's evil intentions.
