Spirit Filled — Spirit Led
The Work, Witness, and Wonder of the Spirit…
The message and teaching centers on the transformative power of being led by the Holy Spirit, illustrated through the imagery of crossing the Jordan, symbolizing death to self and entrance into God's promised life through Christ's atoning sacrifice. Drawing from Romans 8, Revelation 1, and John 12, it emphasizes that true life is found not in the flesh but in the Spirit, where believers are freed from condemnation, made a kingdom of kings and priests, and empowered to walk in righteousness. The Spirit's work is revealed in conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment, leading to a life of surrender, where self is crucified and Christ is exalted. The message culminates in Psalm 90 where we see: our calling to abide in the Spirit, live in the presence of God as our eternal dwelling, and participate in His redemptive work, knowing that the fruit of our lives is not of our own doing but of God's grace, established through Christ's victory on the cross.

"He Leadeth Me… through the Jordan"
There's a reason that old line still hits the heart: "He leadeth me." Not "He shoves me." Not "He abandons me." Not "He leaves me to figure it out." He leadeth me.
We tied the idea to the Older Testament picture of the Jordan River—the descending one. A river you don't cross by grit and muscle. A boundary you don't conquer by human strength. This reminded us: Scripture doesn't say God merely split it; it says He cut it off. He stopped it. He made a way where there was no way.
And we carried that picture right into the gospel:
