The Primacy of Preaching

Paul lays out the "gospel" that he preached to the Corinthians. It should be duly noted that he "preached" when he came to Corinth. The church that avoids true gospel "preaching" is a church in name only. While the gospel can and should be presented in other venues; the pulpit ministry must never be neglected. The gospel must also be "received" by the sinner. By nature they will never receive it; but only by God's grace. Thus the only boast the believer has is in the Lord.
