From Prison to the Palace

In Genesis 41 we see God's plans for Joseph finally take a quantum leap forward as God's gift of dream interpretation brings Joseph before Pharaoh. Joseph explains the dreams mean that God has ordained 7 years of plenty to be followed by 7 years of extreme famine and Joseph suggests steps to take. As a result Pharaoh recognizes God's hand on Joseph and promotes him to second-in-command of Egypt. Throughout, Joseph resists temptation to sin, despair and unfaithfulness and as a result, many lives are saved.
