Means for Unity in the Local Church

After giving motivation for and then marks of unity in the local church in Phil 2:1-2, Paul now exhorts the Philippians to pursue the means for unity in Phil 2:3-4--Humility and Helpfulness.

Pride is the root of all sin, and the greatest threat to unity. Humility is one of the defining characteristics of a Christian and a necessity to unity.
