Feminine Decorum

Telos: To instruct the members of the congregation in regard to the proper role of women in the church.

In the text, Paul says three things about the women in the church. (1) He speaks about how they should adorn themselves; (2) He speaks about how they might serve in the church; and (3) He speaks of what they should avoid doing in the church.
