A Murderer and a Liar

A fatal mistake that we often make in our battle with "our ancient foe" is to arrogantly
think that we can easily resist Satan and will never yield to any of his temptations. Holy
Scripture teaches us instead to be well aware of Satan's tricks even as we lean entirely
upon our Savior, Jesus Christ.
There are four primary ways that the Bible depicts our ancient foe:

1. The "Father of Lies."

2. The "Master of Deceit."

3. The "Tiny Tempter."

4. The "Accuser of the Brethren."
