Forgive One Another

Alexander Pope once wrote, 'To err is human, to forgive, divine.' Forgiveness is a necessity of life simply because we do not live in a perfect world, nor are we perfect people. Sin and conflict are inevitable. The only real question is how we, as Christians, ought to respond once a sin has been committed against us.

There are no biblical alternatives to forgiveness. There is no other way to respond when we have been sinned against, other than to forgive the offender. Since this is the case, this lesson takes a careful look at what it means to forgive one another - using the forgiveness of the cross as the ultimate example of what it means to forgive.
