In the Scriptures leprosy is a picture of sin; both are maladies that threaten the life and destiny of mortal men.

As only God can cure or cleanse the leper, so HE alone is able to take a fallen sinner of Adam's race and bring him redeemed, cleansed, justified and saved into His Holy Presence.
