Time to Grow Up

The writer of Hebrews having given a beautiful exposition on Christ's high priesthood stops to address the Hebrew's church lack of maturity which inhibits there ability to understand the message. But this immaturity is not merely due to ignorance, but is rooted in disinterest in the meat of the faith, the fleshed out implications of belief in the Gospel. So, his admonition to them is for them to grow up so that they can for themselves begin to discern as they should the "word of righteousness".
