Suffer Hardship

There are some who proclaim a false gospel of an easy life in Christ. But Christ has called us to suffer hardship for the sake of the Gospel. We face that hardship in Satan’s temptations as we are led to want a life of ease. But as the Apostle Paul suffered hardship as did our Lord who was tempted, mocked and crucified, so we are to follow in their steps. Nevertheless we are encouraged amid the hardship when we keep in mind what Christ has done for us and by the heavenly state that awaits us.
