A Type Of Christ

The Old Testament has many types of Christ. A type is a person, an institution, or an event that portrays some aspect of the person or work of Christ. The serpent of brass is an event that serves as a type of Christ.The lifting up is the main point of connection between the brass serpent and Christ (John 3:14.) But we can identify other parallels as well:
1-The sinful condition of the people of Israel at this time is an emblem or type of the sinful condition of us all.
2-The judgment that befell the people is an emblem or type of the judgment that awaits all those who do not know God.
3-The remedy applied by Moses is an emblem or type of the salvation provided by Christ.
