The King Makers

This morning we will consider the dust-jacket synopsis of Matthew's Christmas story: God sends a star to call these Gentile magi from the east (via Jerusalem and Herod) to worship the King of the Jews in Bethlehem - foretold by the prophet Micah. We will break it down in three parts: 1. Magi and mystery in downtown Jerusalem. 2. Prophecy and plots in Herod's royal palace. 3. Wonder and worship in Bethlehem of Judea.
