1.) We were dead, but God made us alive in Christ (v. 1; 4, 5)

2.) We were enslaved, but God seated us with Christ on the throne in heaven (vs. 2; 6)

3.) We pursued only perverted desires, but God gave us faith and the desire to do good works (vs. 3; 8, 10)

4.) We were destined for eternal wrath in hell, but God showed us eternal kindness (vs. 3b; 7)
