Whosoever Believeth
Series The Gospel
The key word in John 3 is "believes". An improper conclusion is drawn by those who presuppose man has the desire or ability to choose God according to his own pleasure.
These verses, and the truth about the importance of "believe" is not inconsistent with the Doctrines of Grace. These are not "Arminian" verses nor do they teach self-determination. The Bible is not divided up into Calvinist verses and Arminian verses as Pastor Steve explains.
