The countdown will begin

Tonight is New Years Eve. We are counting down to the start of a new year. For some it is a time of wonder and celebration; a new beginning. While others dread it; tax time is just around the corner, time to start that new resolution to work out (which will only last a week), while for others it may mark the first time without a loved one. Whether good or bad the countdown cannot be stopped. We have known it was coming since last January 1st but the countdown hasn't seemed real until today for many. There is just something about counting down a few hours instead of days. But today a definite dead line has come into sight. The flood is one of those definite dead lines. Preaching has been going on for years for judgment to come. And now God has started the countdown and told Noah in seven days it will rain. The parallel is that of preaching for years Jesus is coming. The countdown will begin at the rapture and end with the second coming.
