The Ministry of Jesus Christ Today

What is happening today as a result of the birth, life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ? Acts 1 brought to a close the earthly ministry of Jesus when He was transported to heaven.

The Bible reveals He is not inactive and just waiting for His second coming. Christ is in heaven where He is in His glorified body and at the same time, in His deity He is involved with humanity on earth. In His exalted position at the right hand of God the Father, He has been given all authority and power over the earth.

What is the impact of His work on mankind today? As Head of the Church, which is His body, His presence is manifest in the universal Church on the earth today with the local Church the manifestation of the universal. Within each local church there is to be growth individually and corporately so that manifestation of Christ is increasingly evident. Presently Christ is working to nourish and cherishes the Church, His Body.

He also is active as our eternal High Priest interceding on our behalf before the Father.
