Jacob Meets the Lord

Jacob is thrust out from his home and familiar surroundings and all the comforts and security he has known all his life. This is the way God begins his training for many of his chosen ones. Jacob heads to Bethel and has his first personal encounter with the LORD himself. Lots to glean from this passage of Scripture.
