Elders-Under Shepherds and Servant Leaders

The ministry of elder in a local church is a calling from God and those so called must be desirous of serving as under shepherds to Christ, who is the only Head of the church. They must be servant leaders, proclaimers and defenders of the Word of God, and examples to the flock. They must be willing to be vulnerable and need the prayers of the church.
