Pilgrim's Progress Part 14 (The loosing of Satan )

INTRO: We are now almost ready to look at the fourth and final phase of the incredible journey of the Church age believer. In this message we will look at the events that happen on earth, while the Church is in heaven in the city and the mansions that have been prepared for her.

You will recall that after the Church is raptured to heaven in the second part of the journey, that she returns to earth by what I called a heavenly horse ride. Look at it in Revelation 19:11-14. Now, at the close of the third part of the journey, the Church (in my view) has been taken back to heaven. When the intervening events on earth have been completed, she will return to earth once more (read Rev. 21:9-11). And so the believer's return to earth is what I have called in our notes, “another heavenly ride”. Now that is quite a ride, isn't it?

But our message this morning, deals not with this ride, but with the prelude to this ride. That is, we are going to see what happens on earth before the Church returns. So, to those thoughts we turn our attention this morning.
