When you mess up it is time to come clean

We have times in our lives when we get complacent. Those times when we simply look at our selves and our recent victories and will decide we got it made and don't have to do anything else. Our secret sins are not secret from God and even staying home, when we should be elsewhere, can cost us some. Here David stayed at home when he should have been elsewhere himself. If we don't come clean, just as David didn't at the first, with God about our sin He will send messengers to get our attention. Sometimes those messengers are people who have gone through the same stuff we are looking at going off into and God is trying to stop us. Whether we do do the sin or God stops us from doing it we need to show some repentance and come clean with God.
