The Wise King

David and Solomon are two sides of the same coin. David is the conquering king. He's the man with blood on his hands. Through battle, he gained Israel's inheritance in the land. And through his victories, he brought rest and peace throughout the land. Solomon is the promised son who would reign through peace. He would be wise and bring justice. Jesus Christ is the greater than David and great David's greater son who is the prince of peace who reigns in righteousness. Jesus is both the conquering king and the wise and gentle prince. He fulfills all that David was and all that Solomon would be.
