Faithfulness Amidst Corruption

The full reason for the coming judgment of God against the earth is disclosed in Genesis chapter 6. The stunning declaration is that Noah alone is faithful to God. The rest of mankind is full of corruption that has resulted in violence. Thus, God tells Noah to build an ark and promises to deliver him from the coming judgment. In this we are reminded of the judgment to come and the means of escaping it.
