The Impact of the Incarnation: A Call to Sacrifice & Shame (For Mary and For Us)

As we enter the Christmas season we need to let Scripture, not Christmas Carols or Christmas Movies shape our thoughts about Christmas. Too often we have a romanticized, glamorized, or even fictionalized view of Christmas.Scripture tells us everything we need to know in order to see how the Incarnation of God the Son impacts us. With that in mind, in our remaining time today, let’s look at the impact that the incarnation had on Mary, Joseph, and Jesus.

The Application for Us is this: The Incarnation Impacts Us to Embrace Sacrifice, Social Stigma, and Shame so that God May be exalted in our Lives.
