The Hidden Work of Conversion

We look at this passage from God's perspective and man's heart. We are told that Ephraim, the 10 Northern Tribes, is bemoaning his sin. These words reflect the true character of conviction of sin. Ephraim pours his heart out to God and surely it is a blessed thing when the sinner does so. When God hears the moaning of His elect, things happen. God is eager to deliver His prodigals.
