Rise Up, O Man Of God

As we participate in the Lord's Supper, God reminds us as to why Christ suffered and died as well as what we are called to do in response to His completed work. It is a time of confession (both of sin and of what we believe (i.e. the Gospel)) and re-consecration (covenant renewal) in thankfulness of His work of redemption. The outline is as follows:
I. Remember from whence you came (v. 17-19)
II. Remember what you have been taught (v. 20-21)
III. Live what you profess to believe (v.22-24)
