Evangelizing Samaritans

Two ways of identifying Samaritans in our culture:
a) people of others ethnicities and cultures
b) postmoderns in our culture:
*Close by and share many things in common culture
*Mutual hostility; view each other as a threat
*Not much contact if we can avoid it
We Christians often view “the secularists” as a threat to be combated. This does not a good foundation for evangelism make.
A third alternative to flight or fight: engage as Jesus did.
Be creative in overcoming hostility to get to the heart
