Hark! Follow the Ark

Aim: To better understand how we are to follow the Lord and His ways.

Exegesis: Let us follow the ark into new spiritual land. God gives us natural (v. 1), spiritual (vv. 2-3), and definite (v. 4) points of reference. Let us follow the ark into new spiritual faithfulness. This calls for our wholehearted devotion (v. 5) and attention (v. 6). Let us follow the ark into new spiritual adventures. This requires Godly leadership (v. 7) and courage (v. 8).

Key verse: v. 3 ''...And they commanded the people, saying, 'When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it.' ''
