The Dividing Line 03

We have been looking at the crucifixion and what Christ did on the cross. We looked at the importance of doctrine first. We are commanded and encouraged by God to hear what He teaches. Doctrine is important because its specific points of teaching are clear about a small area of a subject. These areas / points are what we put together on which to build all of our understanding. They are the indisputably clear teachings of scripture. It is what is known and firm. It is the beginning of our understanding.
