Confidence In God

We often fall into the trap of believing that we can only come to God in prayer when we feel deserving, when we've lived up to a certain standard. But Martin Luther, helpfully said: "We only become worthy to pray when we risk everything on God's faithfulness alone." In this short devotion we aim to reignite our passion for prayer. Prayer isn't about coaxing God into action; it's about embracing His willingness to bless us. Luther tells us: "prayer is not overcoming God's reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness" to bless. So, we must cast aside our doubts and approach the throne of grace with confidence!
