The Other Side of Antinomianism

Lawlessness has many slogans: "Let go and let God" "Let my will be lost in Thine" "Make the decision for me, dear Lord" "We are not under law but under grace" "All things work together for good" and many other like things that sound good until they are examined as really subterfuges to excuse the unwillingness of the soul to make the right decision. Jesus used none of these: but sweat drops of blood, until He could pray, "Not my will, but Thine be done." If He would be perfected, He must choose the will of God.
