A New Covenant; A Superior Offering

Since the garden the history of mankind has been a history of sin. Even the announcement by the angels at the birth of Jesus implies there's a sin problem. The entire sacrificial system was visible way of recognizing the problem of sin. However, it never really dealt with it. In Jesus, that problem has been done away with--once and for all. He has created a new humanity that has been united with a new history. Now we await the end of the consummation of that history!
