Abraham's Wife

The lesson Abraham had to learn in Gerar was to honor Sarah as his wife. He could not be a man of prayer enjoying intimacy with God while not honoring his wife. Moses goes to great length to emphasize that Sarah was Abraham's wife. In the midst of their marital struggles, Abraham & Sarah were sanctified. Sarah is especially profiled as a woman of faith. We must honor marriage and sanctify our spouses with gospel love.
