The Opposition of Lies

In the previous sermon we learned that God has some very real enemies in this fallen world. In this sermon we consider the means by which that opposition often comes--through falsehood! The seed of the ancient Serpent never reveals its craft more ably than through false reports, gossip, slander, and malicious talk. But is the Christian believer hopeless against the enemy? Can the everlasting kingdom of God be overcome by the cunning strategies of perverse men? How can we grown in discernment and "spot the lie" which is against us? In this sermon we strengthen our grip on God's truth in the book of Ezra.
