The Message of the Messiah

What did Jesus say about His purpose in coming to the earth? What was His message? Of all the sayings of Jesus, which one would you choose if you had to select one that is representative of His work as the Messiah, the fulfillment of prophecies from the Old Testament? There are many good answers to that question, but a good case can be made that Jesus' invitation in Matthew 11:28, "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest" exemplified Jesus' message to all people.
