A Christmas Hymn

While we do not know with certainty that this passage was intended as a hymn for the early church, or that it was memorized or sang -- we do know that it takes the structure and form of Hebrew poetry, even though it was written in Greek. Pastor Steve uses the occasion of Christmas to speak of the pre-eminence of Christ in Creation and Redemption.
